After being blocked by the other party, it is usually impossible to remove the blacklist status on your own, and the blacklisted party needs to take the initiative to restore contact. The blacklist function of social platforms is designed with user autonomy as the core, and the account permissions of the blacklisted party will be correspondingly restricted.

Most social software such as WeChat and QQ set blacklists as one-way control mechanisms. When user A adds user B to the blacklist, user B's chat window will display message rejection or failure to send, and he will not be able to view dynamic information such as the other party's friend circle, but user A's account information will still be retained in user B's address book. Under this mechanism, the blacklisted party cannot lift the restriction by modifying its own settings, re-adding friends, or clearing the cache, and the system will not push any operation prompts to the blacklisted party.

Exceptions may exist for a few special scenarios. Some niche social platforms or international software such as Skype allow you to cancel the blacklist by logging out and rebuilding your account, but this method will cause all historical chat records and social relationships to be cleared. When some enterprise-level communication tools such as DingTalk adjust the organizational structure, the system may automatically reset the blacklist status among members. This type of situation has obvious platform limitations and contingency, and is not a conventional solution.

It is recommended to convey the communication intention through mutual friends, or wait for the other party to take the initiative to lift the restriction. In daily social interactions, you should respect the boundaries of others and avoid harassment caused by frequent verification messages. If the contact involves important matters, you can try to change the contact information to explain the situation, but the principle of moderation must be maintained.
