Low temperature candles are usually made from natural materials such as soy wax, beeswax or vegetable wax, and some products may have a small amount of paraffin or fragrance added. The burning temperature of this type of candle is controlled at 50-60 degrees Celsius, making it suitable for skin contact physical therapy or erotic scenes.
Soy wax is currently the most commonly used raw material for low-temperature candles. It is hydrogenated and refined from soybean oil. It has the characteristics of low melting point, stable combustion, and no black smoke. Its combustion temperature is usually 52-54 degrees Celsius, which is close to the tolerance threshold of human skin. When using it, avoid heating in a fixed position for a long time. Beeswax is another traditional choice that is naturally antibacterial and lightly scented, but has a slightly higher melting point than soy wax and is often mixed with other waxes to adjust its properties. Some products will add no more than 30% paraffin wax to improve formability, but high-purity paraffin wax is not suitable for use alone due to its high melting point.
Special-purpose low-temperature candles may add ingredients such as food-grade colorings, flavors, or vitamin E for aromatherapy or skin care. Sexy products will strictly control the safety of additives to avoid causing allergies. Candles containing industrial paraffin or lead cores must not be used for human contact. These materials will produce harmful substances when burned and the temperature is difficult to control. When purchasing, you should confirm the product's stated ingredients and combustion temperature test report, and avoid using three-no products.
Before using a low-temperature candle, you need to test the temperature of the wax drops. It is recommended to test the drops on the inside of your wrist for the first time. Keep the candle at least 15cm away from your skin to avoid burns. Pregnant women, diabetics or those with sensitive skin should use with caution. When extinguishing, do not use your mouth to blow it out. A special candle extinguisher must be used to prevent the wax liquid from splashing. When storing, it should be protected from light and moisture. High temperature environment may cause the candle to deform and affect the safety of use.
